Aw, poor Fifi!

Enjay

What pretty cashmere! However, Lola dear, one must remember that it's unbecoming to make light of the misfortune of others. The silk and cotton cannot help the Lowcountry origin of her background. One grants the less fortunate a beneficent smile, gloating causes pills.

Becky

Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl...

We expect some Amazing Lace from you, Lola. We know you won't disappoint. Get on those needles, gf!

Good luck with the challenge, Kathy :-)

Stephanie

I think Lola may cause your team some problems. She seems very strong willed and might just not be all that great at taking orders. However, I know you will win out in the end and have a gorgeous shawl to show for the effort.

Bliss

Those eyes, that bow... so cute!

Kirsten

Hi Lola,
Well, we might not have sweet tea here in NJ, but we do have saltwater taffy for your sweet tooth! You can always add your own sugar to the tea. Be careful, too much sweetness might not be good for your soft, squishy, beeyooteeful self!

Tell Kathy that I'm glad she found the t-shirt and I hope her sister loves it!

Sarah

Now what is better than cashmere with a southern drawl? :) Can't wait to see that soft girl put to work!!

Olga

I get the feeling that if I *were* to actually squish Lola, she'd smack me upside the head for getting fresh. Awesome entry...you are a worthy competitor! :-)

Thanks for commenting on my post, too!

keri

That yarn looks soooo luxurious!

Lolly

Oh Lola! :) I love the bow!

I have some Hunt Valley cashmere in the ol' stash - it is luxurious stuff!

Marji

What fun you will have with Lola,
but I have to tell you, I'm really interested in Fifi. What is it? I can't really read the tag on the yarn in the pic. I'm thinking a silk cotton blend lace weight might be just the thing for places I'm going, where cashmere would just languish as it's too too too hot.

Kirsten

Yea Kathy! Congrats on your mention on the Amazing Lace Best Of! "Just Plain Good Writing" they say. Well, your readers already knew that! :)

Melissa

Oooh, Frost Flowers from cashmere!! That is going to be incredible. Can't wait to see its progress.
