I found this on Katy's blog, and it was too much fun to pass up. So, while Lola and I are struggling with her first pattern repeats (translated: I had to rip it out and start over, so pictures have to wait), here is my Ode to a Senior Year...
- Who was your best friend? Felicia, Lisa, Melody, Ashley & Elizabeth.
- What sports did you play? LOL... that's funny. (That would be no.)
- What kind of car did you drive? A powder blue Chevy Tuna Boat. My father required that any car driven by any one of his children qualify as a Tuna Boat.
- It's Friday night, where were you? In my living room watching the Love Boat. Or was that Saturday night? Either way... you get the picture.
- Were you a party animal? Oh yeah... me and Gopher and Julie had us some wild times.
- Were you considered a flirt? Nope.
- Ever skip school? Never. I was the proverbial good girl.
- Ever smoke? Shhhh.... it'll ruin my image. (Yes. My little rebellion.)
- Were you a nerd? Not really. Kinda. Maybe. I was an honor student/drama nerd/student council/cheerleader. (Basketball cheerleader. I never quite made it to the super cool-dom of being a Football Cheerleader.)
- Did you get suspended/expelled? Are you kidding? It goes against everything in my good girl nature.
- Can you sing the Alma Mater? Ummm, yeah.
- Who was your favorite teacher? Colonel Mesler - he was our Dean of Students and was one of the most influential people in my life. He really stood by me during some difficult times.
- Favorite Class? Drama
- What was your school's full name? Marist School
- School Mascot? War Eagle
- Did you go to Prom? Yes - my friend from Drama Club took pity on me and when no one asked, he volunteered. He liked to wear my boa.
- If you could go back and do it over, would you? Not on your life.
- What do you remember most about graduation? That I got very unexpectedly teary during Pomp and Circumstance.
- Favorite memory of your senior year? Playing Anita in West Side Story
- Were you ever posted up on the senior wall? I'm not sure what this is... I don't think we had one. I was most talented in my Senior Class.... does that count?
- Did you have a job your senior year? Babysitting... that's about it.
- Who did you date? Rob - who is now married to Felicia (see #1).
- Where did you go most often for lunch? Perimeter Mall
- Have you gained weight since then? Gained.... and lost.... and gained.... and lost. I'm actually smaller now than I was then. (Woot!)
- What did you do after graduation? Moved to Athens and went to UGa
- When did you graduate? 1984. (Gah. I. Am. OLD.)

I love these! and, crap - why am I older than EVERYBODY!!!

Love Boat at 9:00 and then Fantasy Island at 10:00. I was also a basketball cheerleader -- I nearly, but didn't make football cheerleading. (And yearbook/student council nerd.)
And you are not old -- oh, yea, I forgot, I'm old too.

What a fun post! A little glimpse into your past... isn't it funny how different we all were back in high school?

You are SO not old.
I had fun reading this. Whatever happened to the Drama Club friend who liked to wear your boa?

Your not so old! I've got a few years on you.
It's fun to think back on HS. I don't dare answer it on my blog though. I'm afraid my kids (ages 12,12&14) might read it and there are some things it's best they don't know! :)

I was soooo excited to see your comments on my blog, I'm so glad you found me- I've missed you!
This was very entertaining to read, high school full of interesting, silly memories, I'll probably be thinking about it all day...
BTW, I LOVE the stitching on Eloise, it's so pretty!
